The Two Virtual Dana BasketsWe encourage participation in the practice of "dana"– the Pali word for generosity.
At our in-person meetings we usually have two baskets out, one for donations toward our meditation room rental which benefits the SFLGBT Sangha, and the other to support the teachers whose time and wisdom is freely given for our benefit. We have decided to continue paying our meditation center the monthly rent as long as we are able, in order to help sustain them during this time. Our Sangha has thrived since 2002 through the complete support of the weekly donations from our members. At this time, if you would like to make a donation of any amount to the SFLGBT Sangha, you may do so through PayPal by clicking the donate button (Paypal account not necessary.)
